As of January 2024, JVP 4×4 Raised Access Floor systems come with a guarantee on the panels utilized that certifies their durability for at least 50 years from the date of installation. This is double the length of guarantees offered by the leading manufacturers of raised access floors currently on the market.
An unparalleled longevity, confirming yet again the status of JVP as a standard-bearer for Reuse-Before-Recycle, while bringing about an important step change in the sector, given the benefits in terms of consuming fewer resources, reducing waste and cutting pollution, in keeping with the principle of reusing before recycling, a linchpin for future environmental sustainability.
Whilst there are no requirements regarding technical lifetime stated in reference standards for raised access floors, such as the European ISO UNI EN 12825, JVP has always made steady progress in this area, not least by conducting enhanced ageing tests in accordance with UNI EN ISO 9142:2004. The results obtained, together with scientific studies on the basic components and their technical lifetime, show that JVP is able to guarantee its systems for at least half a century.
As of today, the 50-year technical guarantee on JVP products will hold good for the specified composition, manufacturing technology, method of installation and sites — always indoors and protected from weathering agents — as long as the detailed directions in the latest JVP Installation and Maintenance manual are followed to the letter.
